Chirn Place
History
55 Chirn Park was housed to the an iconic service station called Southport Car Repairs. Owned and operated by Bob Stubbs in Chirn Park. When Bob passed, his son Greg took over the thriving business and continued to run the business.
The service station saw many beloved customers car serviced during its tender and was even included in the movie Getting Square. In November 2016 the site was redeveloped into Chirn Place. Southport Car Repairs moved out of its beloved home to Margaret Street in Southport where it still services cars today.
Development
Chirn Place is ideally located in the heart of the fast developing Chirn Park. The building services a growing local and visiting clientele seeking the relaxed classic village atmosphere people sort after. The surburb is surrounded with leafy streets and old queenslander style home. Chirn Park is ideally located on the corner of Brooke Avenue and Fisher Avenue. The building includes four medium sized tendencies, disabled toilets and access and parking either in the middle island or street parking.
